HOW TO BOOK WITH YOU?

First, we need a short video call to get to know you and make sure I'm the right fit for you. After our meeting, I'll send you an invoice, and with payment of 30% of your total invoice and the signing of an electronic contract, you'll book your session with me. WHAT ELSE IS INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGES?

All my clients get access to a photo gallery, a dress code guide for their photoshoot and videos, GIFs, a slideshow, and full coverage of their photoshoot, in addition to all fully edited, high-resolution photos with print rights.

Do you work with LGBTQ+ couples and families?

Absolutely! Love is love in all its colors and forms. And I'm committed to making this project an inclusive place for all types of couples and families.

IS THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC A SAFE PLACE FOR LGBTQ+ PEOPLE?

To say that the Dominican Republic isn't completely safe for the LGBTQ+ community feels like a bit of an exaggeration, but to say there are no risks is irresponsible. The facts are that even when there is no legislation explicitly prohibiting civilians from belonging to the LGBTQ+ community, many people still suffer persecution, discrimination, and violence for being LGBTQ+ with impunity from the government. Same-sex marriage is neither legal nor recognized. In general, if you are a tourist staying at a resort in Punta Cana or anywhere else in the country, you will be safe. Your safety as an LGBTQ+ person is not in imminent danger in the Dominican Republic, but discretion is recommended. I recommend being cautious with PDA in public spaces.

How long does a photoshoot last?

This depends on many factors, but typically a photoshoot can last between 15 minutes and 2 hours.

How many people are coming with you?

This depends on the type of coverage you want for your photoshoot and the logistics. If it's just photography, I'll simply work alone and without anyone else. If it's video, another person would be added to operate the video camera at the same time. Depending on the logistics of your photoshoot, I may need an assistant.

What kind of video do you deliver?

We only make highlight videos with music and audio. You can choose the music you want for your session video from our royalty-free music collection.

How do I make payments?

You can make payments through PayPal in dollars (USD) with a credit card or through bank deposits in Dominican pesos (DOP).

What happens if you can't attend my photoshoot due to an unforeseen event?

If for some emergency I can't attend your wedding, I always have an emergency team ready to replace me at any time.

Can we hire you for just photos or just videos?

Yes. You can hire me only for the service you need.

When do you recommend I book my date?

If you're planning your session between September and December, I recommend booking your date as soon as possible, as this is peak season. Outside of these dates, I usually have plenty of availability for photo sessions on weekdays, although I may have limited availability on weekends.

Do you live in Punta Cana or Santo Domingo?

I live and work in Santo Domingo, but I also spend a lot of my time in Punta Cana.

DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF PUNTA CANA AND SANTO DOMINGO?

Yes. I work a lot in Samaná, La Romana, and Puerto Plata, and I'm always willing to explore any part of the country.

DO YOU CHARGE TRAVEL FEE OUTSIDE OF SANTO DOMINGO?

Yes. I charge a travel fee for any photoshoot outside of Santo Domingo if you're not willing to cover travel expenses. I generally prefer to share a vehicle with my clients to the photoshoot location if it's located in the interior to avoid this extra expense. This fee can be around $300 to $400.

When do we receive our photos and videos?

You'll receive all your photos between 40 and 60 days after your session. Plus, you'll always receive a preview within 48 hours.

CAN WE PRINT OUR PHOTOS?

Yes! You get all your photos with printing rights and in high resolution so you can print them however you want, whenever you want.

¿WHAT IS A slideshow?

This is an animated slideshow set to music that shows the highlights of your photoshoot. It's similar to a PowerPoint presentation. It's a nice way to show your photos to family, friends, and relatives.

What is a GIF?

A GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) is an image file that animates by combining multiple images or a single video. It's like an Instagram boomerang and is a beautiful way to add movement to a photo.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN a slideshow and a video?

The video of your photoshoot is shot with full-motion footage at 30 frames per second with music and audio, while the slideshow is simply a presentation of photos (and some GIFs) from your day set to music. The slideshow is a great addition if video isn't in your plans, but it doesn't replace video coverage.

Do you cover the “VENDOR FEE” for the VENUES or resort?

No. We do not cover any additional fees charged by your hotel, venue, or resort.
